What is IBFX-Mini Monitor?

How Does it Work?

Though traders today use a barrage of different technical indicators, most would likely agree on a short list of the most widely used and accepted technical indicators. After careful research, IBFX concluded that this short list of key technical indicators should include the following:

~ Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD)
~ Awesome Oscillator (AO)
~ Relative Strength Index (RSI)
~ Stochastic (STOCH)

The IBFX-Mini Monitor will keep its eye on each of these indicators for you, posting the results right on your charts.

Download & Installation

1. Download & Unzip
The IBFX-Mini Monitor download includes a zipped folder, which when downloaded should be placed on your desktop. The zipped folder will be titled “IBFX – Mini Monitor”, to begin the installation process, double click on the folder and under ‘Folder Tasks’ select the option to ‘Extract all files’. You will then be prompted to select a destination to place the files, your Desktop or My Documents will both suffice.

2. Installation
Locate the extracted folder which will be titled “IBFX – Mini Monitor”. Open the folder and locate the .ex4 file ‘IBFX Mini Monitor.ex4’. Right click on the file and select copy; you will then paste the file into the indicators folder of your platform. Under ‘My Computer’ browse the following location: C:\Program Files \Interbank FX Trader 4\experts\indicators

3. Attach the Indicator to a Chart
To access your IBFX–Mini Monitor custom indicator, close and restart your platform. In your platform, under your navigator window and Custom Indicators you will find “IBFX – Mini Monitor”. To attach the indicator to an open chart simply drag and drop.
